Your piece is made to be worn. A little care keeps the silver bright and the gold line where it belongs.

What your piece is made of

Every LIANA piece is made of 925 sterling silver. The gold details are 22k gold plating over sterling silver, with a 2-micron gold layer.

The stones are natural: Tourmaline, Watermelon Tourmaline, Black Rutile and Salt & Pepper Diamond, depending on the piece. Colour and inclusions vary from stone to stone.

Everyday care

In the evening, take it off, pass a soft cloth over it once and lay it in its pouch. That is most of what it asks.

  • Wear it often.
  • Remove it before swimming, showering or sleeping.
  • Put it on after perfume, lotion and sunscreen, not before.
  • Keep it away from chlorine, salt water and cleaning products.
  • Polish it gently with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Store it dry, on its own, in the pouch or box it came in.

Silver changes over time

Sterling silver darkens naturally as it meets air and skin. This is not a fault. A soft polishing cloth brings the brightness back. Polish the silver, and go lightly over the gold details.

The stones

Natural stones with inclusions are part of the design. Avoid hard knocks, strong heat and ultrasonic cleaners. If a stone needs cleaning, a soft dry cloth is enough.

Two-year guarantee on the gold plating

LIANA guarantees that the 22k gold plating will not wear off for two years from the day your piece is delivered. The guarantee applies to every LIANA piece delivered within the European Union.

If the plating wears off within that time:

  1. Write to contact@lianashift.com with your order number and a photo of the piece.
  2. Send the piece to us. We cover the shipping costs.
  3. We check it and re-plate it free of charge. If re-plating is not possible, we replace it.

The guarantee does not cover damage caused by chemicals, force or repairs by third parties.

The guarantee is given by LIANA, Melissa Sopha, Kirchenheerweg 235, 21037 Hamburg, Germany. It applies in addition to your statutory rights for faulty goods, which remain unaffected and can be used free of charge.

After the guarantee

After the two years, LIANA repairs or re-plates your piece for the cost of materials and shipping; you do not pay for the labour. Write to contact@lianashift.com with your order number and a photo before sending anything.
