Fragen

Was Sie wissen müssen.

How long does delivery take?

It depends on the piece and, for rings, on the size. Pendants and the three most popular ring sizes (EU 52, 54 and 56) are in stock and ship within 3–5 business days. All other ring sizes are made for you by hand and take around 3–5 weeks.

Germany usually takes 3–5 business days once shipped. International orders take around 10–14 business days, depending on the country.

Where do you ship, and what does it cost?

We ship worldwide. Within Germany, shipping is free over €88. For international orders, it's free over €149. Below that, a small shipping fee is calculated at checkout.

For orders outside the EU, any customs or import fees are set by your country, not by us — those are the buyer's responsibility.

How do I find my ring size?

You'll find a size guide on every ring page to help you measure at home. Our rings come in sizes EU 50–62.

EU 52, 54 and 56 are kept in stock and ready to ship. All other sizes are handcrafted to order in your size. If a size doesn't fit when it arrives, just write to me — I'll help you exchange it, as long as it's unworn and in perfect condition.

What does "made to order" mean?

To keep things considered rather than overproduced, I keep only the most popular ring sizes in stock. Every other size is made for you by hand once you order, which takes around 3–5 weeks.

It means a little more patience for less common sizes — but also that nothing is made beyond what's actually needed.

What materials does LIANA use?

We use recycled 925 sterling silver, and on some pieces an 18k gold vermeil finish — a thick layer (2.0 microns) of recycled real gold over the silver, not a thin plating, so it lasts for years rather than fading. Using recycled gold and silver mattered to me: the materials are already here, and reusing them is simply the right thing to do.

The stones are natural salt & pepper diamonds, chosen by hand. One small thing: don't wear it swimming or in salt water — though honestly, you wouldn't want to do that with any good jewelry.

What is a salt & pepper diamond — and why do you use them?

A salt & pepper diamond is a natural diamond with visible marks inside — little flecks of dark mineral, tiny fractures, small clouds of carbon. The industry calls stones like these imperfect and prices them lower.

I've never seen them that way. To me, imperfect stones have personality. They have life. Every one is different, shaped slowly over millions of years — and that's exactly what makes them beautiful. A flawless stone looks like every other flawless stone. Mine don't. I love that a stone most people would overlook becomes someone's most meaningful piece.

Are these real diamonds?

Yes — every stone is a real, natural diamond. Salt & pepper simply describes the look: instead of being clear, they carry visible marks inside. Same stone, same hardness, just with more character.

What does each symbol mean?

Each piece carries one symbol — North, Within, Still, Flow, Becoming or Alignment. They're not about telling you who to be. They're a quiet marker for something you already know about yourself. If you're not sure which one fits, the short quiz on the site is the easiest way to find yours.

How is my piece packaged?

Every LIANA piece is packed by hand and comes with a LIANA jewelry box, a pouch, and a card. It arrives ready to give as a gift or to keep safely — no extra wrapping needed.

Can I return it?

I know buying a piece like this is personal, and it's an investment in yourself. That's why I give you 30 days — on everything, including made-to-order sizes. I believe in the quality of my work, and I want you to have enough time to be sure it feels right. If it's been worn or damaged that doesn't apply — but otherwise, those 30 days are yours.

What if something breaks?

Every piece comes with the statutory 2-year warranty. If a material or manufacturing fault shows up in that time, just contact me — I'll look into it and we'll find a fair solution together. These are made to last, and I stand behind my work.

How do I care for my piece?

Oxidised silver develops a patina over time. That's not damage — it's just how it ages, and it looks better for it. To keep the dark finish, try to keep it away from water, perfume and harsh chemicals, and clean it gently with a soft cloth. If it ever lightens and you want it dark again, just ask — I'll tell you how.

Is LIANA ethically made?

Yes. Every piece is made by hand in a Responsible Jewellery Council certified workshop in Jaipur. That covers fair labour, responsible sourcing and full traceability. I chose these people because the hands that make your jewelry should be paid and treated well — that mattered to me more than finding the cheapest option.

Can I personalise a piece?

We don't do engraving. But each piece is already personal — your stone, your choice, the moment you bought it for. If you have something specific in mind, just write to me. I read every message.
